BASF welcomed over 60 representatives from the renewable fuels, sustainability and agriculture industries to the BASF Center for Sustainable Agriculture on February 6 and 7 for the Biofuels Summit. Attendees discussed the need for coupling climate-smart agriculture with value chains, such as biofuels, sustainable aviation fuels and chemicals, and how this growing market will shape the outlook for the agriculture industry.

This summer, BASF’s Chattanooga site, in partnership with Chattanooga State Community College, will host its TECH Academy program, which introduces high school students to technical and craft careers through skills classes, workshops and industry tours.

BASF is now offering biomass-balanced and Ccycled grades of its plasticizer portfolio from production sites in Pasadena, Texas and Cornwall, Ontario, to customers. The sites and mass-balanced products have been certified according to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS scheme.

BASF is further expanding its industry-leading FiberMax^® and Stoneville^® cotton seed portfolio with the addition of six new varieties for the 2025 growing season.
 

BASF invites cotton farmers who yield one ton or more of cotton during the 2024 season using FiberMax^® cotton seed to join its exclusive FiberMax One Ton Club™, now in its 20th year.
