Wintershall Holding GmbH, which is located in Kassel, is a 100% subsidiary of BASF in Ludwigshafen and has been active in obtaining raw materials for 120 years; over 80 of these in searching for and extracting oil and gas. Wintershall consciously focuses on selected regions where the company has a high level of regional and technological expertise. These are Europe, Russia, North Africa, South America and increasingly the Middle East. Through exploration and production, selected partnerships, innovations and technological competence, the company intends to extend its business further. Wintershall employs around 2,500 people from 40 nations around the world and is now the largest internationally active German oil and gas producer.

What we expect:

For START IN Wintershall Finance we are looking for graduates with above-average grades from the field of business or economic studies with ideally some experience in finance. Because of your excellent English skills and at least 3 months of experience abroad, you are ideally prepared for your scheduled international assignments and global projects. What you can expect:

The START IN Wintershall Finance trainee program offers you an 18-month introductory phase at Wintershall. Depending on your personal strengths and the focus of your studies, you will get an insight into our "Accounting", "Controlling", and "Finance" departments in our headquarters in Kassel via specific projects and tasks. To let you acquire technical experience in an intercultural context, a three-month delegation to one of our branches abroad is also part of the program. The project work is complemented by specialist training courses and seminars. Once you have completed the START IN program, you can look forward to a challenging role in the finance area of Wintershall or one of our Group companies.
