You will receive a focused but comprehensive overview of the entire industry and value chain with all its players, from raw material suppliers to those who make the final products.

You’ll work with our customers to develop sustainable systems and innovative solutions that make vehicles safer, more comfortable, easier to operate, and less harmful to the environment.

What we expect:

We are looking for interculturally oriented, committed candidates with a hands-on mentality who enjoy working in B2B marketing. You possess a degree (Master, MBA or PhD) with achievements above average in (industrial) engineering or in business administration/economics preferably with a technical background. In addition, you have gained relevant practical experience with a global player in the automotive industry. It is important that you understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions due to your customer oriented approach. As you will collaborate with various departments within the organization, you should also possess strong communication skills both in English and in German (or the willingness to learn German) as well as intercultural orientation. A high level of flexibility and mobility makes your application perfect.

Which responsibilities can you expect?

By participating in this global rotational program with a focus on B2B marketing and sales you will get an in-depth insight into the nature of the BASF automotive business. For the duration of 24 months you will have the opportunity to gain experience in BASF automotive related strategies by rotating in different business units and regions. Furthermore, you will be introduced to the field of key account management. By the end of the program you will have developed a deep understanding of business unit specific business models and their value drivers as well as an overall knowledge of BASF product portfolios and applications for the automotive industry. As a proven expert you will be able to deeply understand our customers' needs and to provide them with the best solutions.
