Dr. Dirk Elvermann
Dr. Dirk Elvermann is Member of the Board of Executive Directors, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of BASF SE.
Dirk Elvermann was born in 1971 in Unna, Germany. He studied Law and Economics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, and completed his doctorate in Law in 2002.
In 2003, he joined BASF. Among other roles, Dirk Elvermann was Managing Director of BASF Polska, responsible for Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, and President of Corporate Finance. He was appointed to the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE in 2023.
He is responsible for the divisions Corporate Finance; Corporate Audit; Corporate Taxes & Duties; Global Business Services; Global Digital Services; Global Procurement; BASF Venture Capital and the startup trinamiX.
