Kids love challenges, kids love to learn. Kids love experiments. Kids love science. And this year: Let kids love our environment.
Every year, BASF Kids’ Lab gives children, parents, teachers and schools around the globe an opportunity to explore and discover science in daily life. Core to the Kids’ Lab are the experiments, which help children learn science in a fun way and let kids love science.
The BASF Kids' Lab Experiment Challenge 2019, with the theme of Sustainability had been successfully concluded at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on Nov 2, 2019. Kudos to the six teams of budding scientists who showed excellent performance in presenting your ideas and demonstrating the role of chemistry in sustainability.
Here are the winners of this year:
Champion: Zita Ng, Katarina Shing and Rachel Ma - St. Paul's Convent School
1st Runner up: Ken Hilton and Austin Tan - HKUGA College
2nd Runner up: Vicky Hui, Catherine Lam, Ashley Hui and Hebe Yik - Maryknoll Convent School
Thank you once again to those who submitted entries, your creativity and passion in chemistry definitely made the Challenge more exciting. We look forward to seeing more young chemists to share interesting experiments with us next year!
