Short bio

Claus Hackmann, PhD, joined BASF Venture Capital GmbH as an Investment Manager in September 2010. Before that, as Head of Production of Electronic Materials Europe at BASF SE, he helped build up the new business unit and for four years was Group Leader of the Business Process Management team of the business unit Detergents and Formulators. He studied Chemistry at the University of Münster (Westfälische Wilhelms Universität Münster).
