What is your educational and professional background?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Finance and a Master’s in Real Estate Investment and Finance from the University of Cambridge. I’ve held various consulting roles and a position in corporate development, sharpening my skills in strategy and project management. My experience across multiple industries has enabled me to craft tailored solutions and foster collaboration, all while continuously learning from diverse teams and challenges.

Why did you join BASF Management Consulting?

I cherish the opportunity to work with the world's biggest chemical company, gain exposure to diverse industries, and work on strategic projects that have a direct impact on the company. Additionally, I appreciate the culture of collaboration as well as the access to a global network of consultants all over the world, which allows me to continuously develop my skills.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

My typical day is a mix of brainstorming sessions, collaboration with teams across BASF, managing complex projects, and diving into data to unlock insights. I get to tackle challenges head-on, craft exciting strategies, and influence decisions that shape our company’s future — all the while enjoying a dynamic and engaging work environment.

What do you like most about your job with us?

I really enjoy the brilliant work-life balance and the flexibility to shape my schedule and outcomes across a variety of projects. There's no one-size-fits-all approach here! Being well-acquainted with BASF’s operations allows me to craft tailored solutions and access information with ease. I also have the chance to learn from fantastic colleagues with diverse expertise and manage projects that genuinely resonate with our clients. The icing on the cake? A vibrant, collaborative team atmosphere that makes problem-solving a doddle! Plus, with a hybrid working model and travel to clients, I get to see the day-to-day running of the business first-hand.

How do you balance professional and private goals?

While juggling a whirlwind of projects at BASF, I’m also diving into a doctorate in business administration in Geneva, and navigating a long-distance romance with my fiancé in Tampa. It’s all about mastering the art of time management and keeping communication crystal clear with my team and practice group leader. I couldn’t do it without the amazing support of my colleagues, clients, family, friends, and mentors. At the end of the day, aligning my personal values and goals is the secret sauce for thriving in both my professional and personal adventures.
