With Elastoflex ®, natural materials in the living area of the VisionVenture can be seen and felt in a new way. The polyurethane foam system is actually known as a glass fiber reinforced material for structural components; in the campervan, it accentuates the natural fiber hemp on decorative surfaces such as cupboard doors or kitchen fronts. The VisionVenture, co-created by BASF and HYMER, is a near-production glimpse into the future of van life. In the steps and the bed frame of the VisionVenture, the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) gives pressure point relief teamed with pleasing esthetics. As a connection module, it holds the slats in the slatted base together, resulting in an excellent, individually adjustable mattress base on account of it high material resilience.
