BASF KUTSUU POHJOISMAISET STARTUPIT JA INNOVOIJAT VIHREÄN SIIRTYMÄN INNOVAATIOKILPAILUUN

Eurooppalainen tutkimus- ja kehitystyön edelläkävijä sekä maailman suurin kemian alan yritys BASF käynnistää BASF Innovation Hub Nordic -innovaatiokilpailun, joka tuo yhteen startupeja ja innovoijia neljästä Pohjoismaasta, mukaan lukien Suomesta. Tänä vuonna tapahtuma keskittyy ratkaisuihin, jotka tukevat joko suoraan tai välillisesti Euroopan vihreän kehityksen ohjelmaa (Green Deal) ja vihreää siirtymää hyödyntäen kiertotalouden, vähähiilisyyden, maatalousteknologian tai biotieteiden innovaatioita.

CDP again awards BASF Leadership status

The non-profit organization CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) has again ranked BASF as one of the world’s leading companies for its water management and forest and climate protection measures. BASF achieved the top rating “A” in the CDP assessment for sustainable water management and was rated “A-” in the other two categories.

BASF selected as strategic supplier of high-performance cathode active materials for battery manufacturer PPES

BASF has delivered the first batch of nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) cathode active materials (CAM) via its majority-owned joint venture BASF TODA Battery Materials LLC (BTBM) to Prime Planet Energy & Solutions (PPES), a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) and Panasonic Holdings Corporation (Panasonic).

Joint Press Release - AeroSHARK from Lufthansa Technik and BASF now certified for Boeing 777

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted Lufthansa Technik a so-called Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) that officially paves the way for the series modification of two Boeing 777 variants with the fuel-saving AeroSHARK riblet films. Through the STC, the subfleet-wide roll-out of this sustainability technology, developed jointly by Lufthansa Technik and BASF, can now commence at the launch customers Lufthansa Cargo and Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The next modification layovers in Frankfurt and Zurich are already scheduled for early January.

The packaging’s MAP properties preserve the quality of the passion fruit.

BASF and StePac partner to develop sustainable packaging for shelf-life extension of fresh produce

BASF SE (Ludwigshafen, Germany) and StePac Ltd. (Tefen, Israel) have joined forces to create the next generation of sustainable packaging specifically for the fresh produce sector. Supplying StePac with its Ultramid^® Ccycled^TM, a chemically recycled polyamide 6, BASF will provide its partner greater flexibility to advance contact-sensitive packaging formats to a higher sustainable standard within the circular economy.
