Personnel changes at BASF
Ludwigshafen, Germany – The Board of Executive Directors of BASF has announced the following personnel changes:
Dr. Stefan Blank (54), President Intermediates division, Ludwigshafen, will assume responsibility for the Corporate Development division effective July 1, 2018. He will succeed Dr. Bernhard Nick (60), who will retire effective June 30, 2018.
Dr. Andrea Frenzel (48), currently President South & East Asia, ASEAN & ANZ regional division, Hong Kong, will at the same time assume responsibility for the Intermediates division. She will be succeeded by Dr. Ramkumar Dhruva (50), Senior Vice President, Monomers, Asia Pacific.
Ralph Schweens (53), President South America regional division, São Paulo, Brazil, will assume responsibility for the Care Chemicals division, Ludwigshafen, effective May 1, 2018. He will succeed Hans-Walther Reiners (55), who has decided to leave the company.
Manfredo Rübens (54), President Regional Functions & Country Platforms North America, BASF Corporation, Florham Park, New Jersey, will assume responsibility for the South America regional division, São Paulo, Brazil, at the same time. He will be succeeded by Tobias Dratt (45), Senior Vice President, Business Center Subregions & Regional Functions South America, BASF S.A., São Paulo, effective May 1, 2018.
