Cutting-edge technologies for acrylic sealants

BASF’s polymers provide binders for paintable sealants and gap fillers with elastomeric and adhesion properties, improved flexibility, weatherability, and desired cure rates. Additionally, the acrylic dispersion-based sealants and gap fillers are safe and easy to use.

Every gap and corner are subject to substrate movements caused by daytime heat, cold weather, and vibration, resulting in liquid and gas leakage. It is important to fill the gaps to prevent leakage while following the substrate movement for durable gap sealing.

BASF offers a comprehensive portfolio for acrylic sealants and gap fillers backed with formulation technologies. BASF’s product can be formulated into sealants and gap fillers from general performance products to highly differentiated solutions according to the market needs.
