BASF's dedicated bio-based portfolio offers solutions across multiple applications and industries. It serves as a substitute for fossil alternatives, known as 'drop-ins,' which help reduce carbon footprints, or as new products that leverage unique properties unattainable or not cost-efficiently achievable with fossil feedstock. Within our additives portfolio, we utilize renewable raw materials primarily derived from vegetable oils, fats, grains, sugars, and wood. Below, we present a list of additives categorized across different product lines, including dispersing agents, defoamers, wetting agents, surface modifiers, rheology modifiers, and light stabilizers.
