BASF recently welcomed emerging automotive designers from the College for Creative Studies (CCS) for a behind-the-scenes look at how chemistry, materials science, and design come together in the automotive industry. The visit was part of a senior design program sponsored by the American Chemistry Council's Automotive Subcommittee. Through collaborations with industry partners, CCS provides students with opportunities to apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges and explore potential career paths.

BASF is introducing two new herbicide solutions that will help farmers handle variable environmental conditions in 2027. With the introduction of Voraxor™ herbicide and Zidua^® PLUS herbicide, BASF is providing farmers with enhanced flexibility and broad-spectrum control across the season, from effective burndown applications to long-lasting residual weed management. 

Ridivex^™ herbicide has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration and is planned to be available in 2027. Ridivex herbicide is currently not for sale and BASF is not accepting orders at this time. 

BASF conducted a large-scale emergency response drill at the company’s Wyandotte Site that included employees, first responders, healthcare providers and local government agencies. The drill, which took place on October 8, was designed to test emergency response procedures, communication systems and coordination among multiple agencies. 

BASF Agricultural Solutions announced organizational and leadership changes designed to further strengthen its customer focus, simplify decision-making processes and support the company's continued transformation into a standalone business.
