BASF and Arva announce strategic collaboration to deliver a pathway for farmers and biofuel producers to benefit from the 45Z biofuel tax credit

BASF and Arva today announced a strategic collaboration to help biofuel producers and farmers capture the full value of the Clean Fuel Production Credit (Section 45Z) once the implementing regulations are finalized. Together, the companies will connect biorefineries with verified low-carbon intensity grain through both farmer-direct and commercial channels, rewarding farmers for their practices and giving biorefineries the data and documentation they need.

BASF Coatings recognized as a 2025 Supplier of the Year winner by General Motors

General Motors today presented BASF Coatings with a 2025 Supplier of the Year Award at GM’s 34th annual Supplier of the Year event in Austin, Texas. This marks the 19th award for BASF overall. The Supplier of the Year celebrates global suppliers that distinguish themselves by exceeding GM’s standards while providing innovative technologies and achieving some of the highest quality standards in the automotive industry.

BASF has opened a new, state-of-the-art research and development center for advancements in refinery catalysts. The facility is strategically co-located at BASF's largest refinery catalyst production site globally, in Attapulgus, Georgia.
