BASF and Bemis Manufacturing Company received honorable mention at the Altair Enlighten Awards in the enabling technology category for their collaboration on large hydraulic tanks for compact excavators.

Wesley Pursley recently accepted a full-time position as an operator at BASF’s site in McIntosh, Alabama following his completion of the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) program at Bishop State Community College, which connects employers and students with earn-and-learn opportunities designed to equip them for a full-time role. Pursley was one of 15 students to graduate from FAME’s inaugural class at Bishop State.

BASF is further expanding its Xitavo^® soybean seed portfolio with the addition of 19 new products for the 2025 growing season. With these additions, the Xitavo soybean seed portfolio includes a total of 46 products covering relative maturities of 0.0 to 4.8.

Sixteen Chattanooga area high school students graduated from BASF’s TECH Academy program which, in partnership with Chattanooga State Community College, introduces students to technical and craft careers through skills classes, workshops and industry tours.
