BASF to increase prices for engineering plastics in North America

WYANDOTTE, MI, February 28, 2025 – Effective March 10, 2025, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices for the following Engineering Plastics compounded products in North America:
Ultramid®, Capron® and Nypel® PA6 $0.12/lb
Ultramid and Nypel PA66, PA6/66 $0.10/lb
Ultradur® PBT, PBT/PET, PBT/ASA/PET $0.10/lb
Petra® PET $0.10/lb
Ultraform® Q600 and Q610 POM          $0.12/lb
Ultramid PA and Ultradur PBT Halogenated flame retardant $0.35/lb

Higher increases for some specific grades may be required.
