Companies in North America are implementing strategic sustainability initiatives to mitigate the effects of climate change while also continuing to meet their customers' needs.

BASF Corp Director of Sustainability Luiziana Ribeiro participated in the panel “Data-Driven Decisions: Building a Unified View of Your Supply Chain,” where the speakers discussed how data science could help companies track their emissions and take action to reduce them to meet their Scope 3 goals.

By providing cradle-to-gate Product Carbon Footprints for its 45,000 products, BASF fosters conversations with customers about carbon footprint improvements and engages with suppliers to decarbonize the value chain. We’re at a defining, strategic position to collaborate upstream and downstream to drive positive change,” said Ribeiro.
