What is SuccessFactors?

SuccessFactors is an SAP Cloud based Human Capital Management product. SuccessFactors systems provide us with the tools to inspire everyone in the company to not only to work smarter, but to work together towards the goals the company believes are critical to its success.

Can I set up alerts for new jobs?

Once you have registered on SuccessFactors and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, you can set up email alerts for new jobs that are advertised. These will be emailed to you and you will be able to apply. 

What can I expect in the recruitment process?

The recruitment process has several stages.  These stages can happen concurrently depending on the area, business requirements/needs and the nature of the role.

Application – Screening/Shortlisting – Interviews – Psychometric Assessment (depending on the nature and seniority of the position) – Background checking and Verification of qualifications – Medical & Fitness assessment and Security clearance – Offer – Onboarding

Any tips for my Curriculum Vitae (CV)?

Your CV should ideally be no more than three (3) pages and must contain your current contact information, qualifications, work experiences, as well as details about any special skills and knowledge you may have.  An introductory paragraph or cover letter with your career aspirations tell us more about you. You may also want to highlight some achievements, specifically as it relates to the position advertised. Keep the summary brief and relevant. 

Do I need to pay anything to be eligible for a position at BASF?

No, BASF will never request you to pay for any background checks or clearances for vacancies in Africa.
