What we expect!

You have a university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering Computer Science, Data Analytics or an Engineering Discipline with a strong quantitative focus.
You have in-depth knowledge of databases and are familiar with data administration.
You are well experienced in Database Design, Production Coding, Data Collection, Data Warehousing and Data Transformation. You have good understanding of ETL and business intelligence.
Furthermore you have a passion for working diligently with data.
You are comfortable working in multinational interdisciplinary teams and preferably already gained international experience.
Furthermore, you are a creative and motivated team player with sound English skills to communicate with external as well as internal international partners.

Which responsibilities can you expect?

Responsibilities:

Construct and maintain highly scalable database management systems.
Define and develop data set processes data modelling, data mining and production.
Install and update various disaster recovery procedures.
Suggest various methodologies to enhance data reliability, data efficiency and data quality.
Develop specialized user defined functions and analytics applications.

Extract, Transform and Load operations
Modelling data
Building data warehousing solutions
Designing data architecture
Testing the Database Architecture

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining highly scalable database management systems, building data warehousing solutions, as well as designing and testing database architecture.

You will collaborate continuously with subject matter experts from the Business Units and business developers to utilize good business understanding and to enable business to understand and use your results.
