BASF’s Grow Graduate Program® offers three different areas of specialization to help you develop a solid foundation of knowledge and the professional skills required for future success. In this specially tailored program, graduates go through systematic and guided work assignments, job rotations in related areas as well as a variety of off-job training.

The structured development opportunities help you build a foundation for future growth through business knowledge, diverse learning experiences, interactions with different colleagues and customers, and enhanced professional skills.

The program provides three target deployment areas:

Business: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical Service
Manufacturing and Technology: Production, Chemical Engineering, Engineering (Design), Maintenance and Projects
Functions: Finance, Accounting and Controlling, Human Resources, Communications, Logistics and Procurement

How to become a part of our team

After graduating, you can start as a trainee in our BASF Grow Graduate Program® and gain insights into various fields of activity within individual departments. Your roles and subsequent target position will be agreed with you ahead of time, based on mutual interest. This ensures you the best possible career start after your degree.

What we expect

You have successfully completed your degree and if you have already gained practical experience via internships that would be a plus. You have mastered working in both Chinese and English. As a global company, we depend on your strong intercultural skills. You are highly motivated to drive things forward and enjoy working in a team, and the ability to think entrepreneurially and communicate persuasively will round off your profile.

Which responsibilities can you expect?

As a Grow trainee, you would experience various positions within the company which form a solid foundation for your career development through a 24-month job rotation. During this time, you will interact with colleagues or customers from different countries and diverse cultural backgrounds. You will also have opportunities to participate in international projects or join short-term programs overseas.

For all entry-level positions, you can expect demanding tasks with a high degree of responsibility and on-the-job training within a committed, competent team.
