Markus Dinslacken assumes new position at BASF’s Coatings division

Münster. Markus Dinslacken, former Chief Human Resources Officer, Fresenius Kabi AG, Bad Homburg, will take over the management of the Global People & Culture Coatings unit and the position of Managing Director at BASF Coatings GmbH on September 1. BASF Coatings has approximately 11,600 employees at 70 sites worldwide.

After completing his studies, Markus Dinslacken held various positions at the Henkel Group and subsequently at Boehringer-Ingelheim and Fresenius Kabi. His professional career has been characterized by a wide range of experiences in different areas of human resources management and IT, both in local and global roles.

His predecessor, Mathias Schöttke, has been Managing Director and Labor Director at BASF Coatings since June 1, 2021. At the same time, he has been responsible for People & Culture worldwide. On September 1, he will take over the position of Managing Director at the German Federation of Chemical Employers' Associations (BAVC).
