Dividend proposal of Euro 2.25 per share
BASF has set itself the target of distributing at least €12 billion to shareholders from 2025 to 2028 through a combination of dividends and share buybacks.
Specifically, we intend to pay a dividend of at least €2.25 per share or around €2 billion each year. The total dividend distribution of at least around €8 billion over the four-year period will be supplemented by share buybacks of at least around €4 billion.
The proposed dividend for the 2025 business year is €2.25 per share (dividend for the 2024 business year: €2.25 per share). Assuming the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting of BASF SE on April 30, 2026, will approve the proposed dividend, it will be disbursed on May 6, 2026.
