I live abroad, can I still apply?

Yes - you can apply for an apprenticeship position at BASF from abroad i.e. if your are not living in Germany. 

Please provide your application documents in German language and be aware that the selection process takes place in Germany and in German language. 

However, travel expenses for participation in the recruitment test or interview will only be reimbursed within Germany, i.e. from the German border or the airport of arrival.
Germany has specific entry requirements that must be fulfilled in order to enter the country. These requirements may vary depending on the purpose of your visit, your nationality, and the duration of your stay. Please ensure that all entry requirements for Germany are met.

In order to start your training at BASF, a valid residence and work permit must be available.

What language level is required an apprenticeship?

Foreign applicants who do not have a report / certificate from a german school must have a good knowledge of german.
(language certificate level B2 required)

Where can I aquire a German language certificate?

There are numerous ways and institutions from which you can aquire a german language certificate. The most-known institute is the Goethe-institute. You can find further information here.
