Mental Health First Aiders’ Conference 2024

Creating a positive mental health culture by breaking the stigma

Our annual Mental Health First Aiders’ Conference was held in early October 2024. The event brings together BASF colleagues from around our region to discuss how we can improve mental health in the workplace and provide an opportunity for our Mental Health First Aiders to share experiences, build skills and develop the network. The theme was ‘Creating a positive mental health culture by breaking the stigma’ and the conference invited over 30 colleagues to take part in role play activities, feedback workshops and skills building sessions.

Thomas Birk, Vice President BASF UK & Ireland, commented, “I’m excited that we continue our efforts to create a positive mental health culture in our workplaces and am grateful to all the passionate BASF colleagues who continue to display such energy around the critically important topic of mental wellbeing.”
