The vast internal surface area and high porosity of BASF's metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) allow efficient gas storage and significantly expand tank capacity. This offers benefits such as increasing vehicle range. BASF researchers pioneered a process that enables the water-based synthesis of these materials on an industrial scale. NAO Academic Partners

Collaboration projects have started with leading universities in China, South Korea and Japan in the field of materials and polymer science. Since November 2019 NAO has been successfully expanded the scope by including two outstanding institutions in India. Apart from the below partners, we collaborate with many academia in Asia Pacific.
