Jeff Danko

Jeff Danko joined BASF Canada in 2017 as Tax Manager and was appointed Head of Tax and Treasurer in October 2024. In this role, he oversees all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and treasury operations. Jeff helps BASF Canada navigate complex and evolving tax regulations while ensuring effective management of cash resources and minimizing tax liabilities.

Before joining BASF, Jeff worked at General Mills and AB InBev (Labatt Breweries of Canada). He began his career at Deloitte, where he earned his CPA Canada designation and completed the In-Depth Tax Program. Additionally, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently a board member of the Toronto Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI).
