How does the global job search work?

The global job search shows open position for all BASF Group companies worldwide. If you have found an interesting position, you are asked to register to BASF’s global talent community. After the registration, you will be directed to the right online application system. BASF is using different application systems depending on the location of the job position. You find an overview on our regional systems here.

How does BASF's talent community work?

You can register for a newsletter via BASF’s global talent community to get information and news on the latest jobs at BASF. Membership in the talent community is not equivalent with membership in the European Talent Pool (ETP), which is invitation-only. The registration in the talent community does not constitute an application.

I cannot upload my application documents. What can I do?

We recommend to upload documents with the following formats: PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point (PPT) or text. The maximum file size must be no larger than 10 MB each. If you still cannot upload your documents, please contact us by using the contact form on our website.

Can I withdraw my application?

You can remove your application at any time on our online application system. Please log in with your credentials and go to “Job Management” and “Jobs Applied”. Here you select the application and click on “Withdraw Application”

Can I delete my candidate profile?

You can delete your profile within the system. To do so, please login, enter your candidate profile and click on “Delete Profile”. After you deleted your profile, there is no way to login again. In case you would like to return, you have to register again to create a new profile in our system.

When generating an online application, can I interrupt the application and log on again later?

 You can interrupt your application at any time if you click on “Save”. Your drafted application will be saved in your profile under “Saved Application”. As long as you did not click on "Send Application", you can complete your application at a later date provided that the position is still vacant.

How can I agree to my data being saved?

If you register in our online application system, you are asked to agree to our data privacy statement including data storage.  If you have registered in our system, you find the respective data privacy statement in your candidate profile.
