More than 111,000 employees in the BASF Group contribute to the success of our customers in nearly all sectors and almost every country in the world. Our portfolio comprises six segments: Chemicals, Materials, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, Nutrition & Care and Agricultural Solutions. BASF generated sales of €87.3 billion in 2022.

BASF in Sri Lanka

BASF has been active in Sri Lanka for more than 80 years. With 29 employees as of the end of 2016, and a state-of-the-art concrete admixtures production plant and warehousing complex at Sapugaskande, BASF registered sales of approximately €20 million to customers in Sri Lanka in 2016.

Beyond its business activities, BASF also contributes to the local community with initiatives that support relief and rehabilitation efforts in Sri Lanka.
