Bio-based and biodegradable paper soup cups

To facilitate cleaner, convenient and easier collection of organic waste, BASF will introduce a new application of ecovio^®, a biodegradable and partially bio-based polymer, in paper coating for Chinese consumers. As alternative to PE-coated paper single-use tableware, ecovio^® paper solutions demonstrate excellent migration barrier properties and improve resource efficiency as well as carbon footprint.
