What we expect

Technical experts at BASF have an A2 or bachelor’s degree in a technical study field. These studies are further completed with relevant work experience. You like to work in a precise and analytic manner. Even under pressure safety remains your top priority.

Furthermore, you are a genuine team player who gets to the bottom of projects or disturbances together with colleagues.

We have many possible positions for technical experts, such as:

Plant technician automation or mechanics: You are linked to a production installation where you will solve disturbances, do preventive maintenance works and you will implement optimization projects as well.
Technician in a specific field such as instrumentation, pumps, mechatronics etc.: You solve technical issues within your field.
Planner in a specific professional field: You prepare maintenance, revision and renovation works within your field.
Systems technician: you will work on different tasks in the reach of a specific DCS system at BASF for a certain production installation.
